A Super Chic Corinthian Club Wedding

October had us capture a super chic, intimate wedding at The Corinthian Club in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.

As soon as I first spoke with my couple, I could see their vision; I knew it would be chic and stylish, oozing with glamour and wow, did their day do just that.

They opted for a classic black and white colour palette; the men were in black tuxedos with the bridesmaids in black satin gowns with simple hand tied gypsophila poses.

My bride was breathtaking in a floor length gown from Bijoux Bridal complemented by a gorgeous bouquet from Love to Flower Scotland.

We did an emotional first look with the bridesmaids and then with her dad; there was not a dry eye in the room.

The ceremony was conducted by David the Humanist; a heartfelt but hilarious ceremony full of laughter and wonderful stories about the couple.

After the ceremony, I took the couple on a little wander around the fabulous landmarks our beautiful city of Glasgow has to offer; the Gallery of Modern Art and the Duke of Wellington, John Street arches and finally around to Hutcheson street before heading back to the Corinthian.

After a 30 minute photoshoot around the landmarks, my couple joined their guests for a few formal group photos and then onto their wedding meal. Heartfelt speeches full of stories about the couple had everyone in fits of laughter but also emotional tears.

After the meal, I took the couple away for another little evening photoshoot in one of the bars and then outside to do some sparklers with their guests. We also did a fun pizza shot on the steps of the Corinthian; something we had planned several months prior.

The couple then made their grand entrance from upstairs to Latch by Disclosure and were greeted by all their evening guests. The dance floor didn’t stop for the rest of the evening thanks to the fabulous Elliot G Sax.

I was joined on the day by my second shooter Rachael from Roots and Rays Photography and Emma from Ur BTS Bestie.

Sketching the guests in the evening was the fabulous live wedding artist Hannah from What Hannah Does.
